We have two old milk cans which John got from a former client a few years ago. She was moving and told John she was throwing them out, he rescued them and brought them home.
Are they from the 1930s or 1940s, maybe even the 1920s? I wish one of my grandparents was still alive, they would know the answer. My grandfather was born in 1898!
I would like to clean them up, get the rust off and put a fresh coat of black paint on both.
Some people utilize old milk cans in their entry way for umbrellas. We never use umbrellas so I will probably use them for decorative purposes, maybe one in the kitchen and another in the living room. As always, suggestions welcome!
