A Visit to Vintage Home in Paoli, PA

Today, I stopped in Vintage Home not far from Brick House 319. For months, I’ve been driving by the shop, and today, I finally had some spare time to take a peek.

A collection of stenciled pillows with Main Line towns and their zip codes is at the entrance of the spacious store.

Vintage Home blends old and new rustic pieces. The lower part of the store has mostly faux vintage pieces. The upper part of the store has a large selection of vintage pieces such as solid wood dressers, armoires, hutches, tables, chairs and end tables–some refreshed with paint and others waiting for a fresh coat.

The first thing that caught my eye was a horizontal birch tree suspended from the ceiling with dangling glass lanterns.

I liked the pair of stools which had baseball inspired stitching on the seats.

The two 1930s inspired bakers’ racks really fooled me; I thought they were vintage…

This is a creative piece (not for sale): The large shelving display unit is constructed out of old conventional doors as well as the sides, and the top is a glass-paned door.
