Palram Greenhouse Platform

The Palram greenhouse platform was constructed on Saturday with 4x4s and 2x4s along with two OSB boards.

The instructions are easy to follow for assembling this backyard hobby greenhouse. Most of the assembling can be done by one person but a second person is needed for a couple of the framing steps.

The entrance to the greenhouse will be on the south side. The door will be hinged on the left.

Each aluminum powder-coated piece has a number.

Tools needed: Tape measure, level, gloves and Phillips-head screwdriver.

  1. Thanks Sue,

The greenhouse is a decided way to become more enthusiastic in getting a head start on the planting season.

A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to pain my garden cement stones, some round, some square with paint made for cement and it proved a true challenge because it’s really sticky.

I painted 3 round reddish squares and the coverage was good though in using my cotton small roller the paint on the stones grabbed the cotton and pulled it out leaving bits behind.

I’m uncertain if regular outdoor house paint can endure the test of time, but if anyone uses cement paint, don’t use cotton rollers and know it’s a very slow process.
